MedSys Group Gives Back by Now Partnering with Kenna?s Kids and The Fallen Soldier Memorial Plaque Program

Believing in the spirit of giving and community, MedSys Group supports charitable organizations in the Dallas area.

Frisco, TX (PRWEB) December 21, 2012

MedSys Group, a national healthcare IT consulting firm, is expanding its long-term commitment to charitable giving by partnering with two non-profit organizations, Kenna?s Kids and The Fallen Soldier Memorial Plaque Program. Believing that it is better to give than to receive, MedSys is donating its time and finances to each cause, and is committed to raising community awareness regarding each organization.

?MedSys Group has always been committed to supporting our community,? Alan Kravitz, CEO & Founder of MedSys Group said. ?It is our philosophy to ?pay forward? the success we have been blessed with through our business. Kenna?s Kids and the Fallen Soldier program are fantastic organizations that unconditionally care and strive to support others within our community. It?s an enormous honor for us to be involved with them.?

Kenna?s Kids is a nonprofit organization that reaches out to individual families with children experiencing life?s medical challenges at a young age. MedSys will be giving support to a child fighting osteosarcomas cancer. Osteosarcoma is the most common type of bone cancer that occurs in children and young adults. Teenagers are the most commonly affected age group, but osteosarcoma can occur at any age. In addition, MedSys will be donating a financial gift raised during the month of December to help assist with medical bills and making ?Holiday Gift Wishes? come true. The Fallen Soldier Memorial Plaque Program created and sustained by an American Legion Post in Little Elm Texas, took root in November of 2005 to honor the memory of US Military personnel from the State of Texas that made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States in the war against terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. Families of the fallen heroes are awarded two marble plaques with a portrait of The Fallen Soldier along with a brief description of how that hero died, as well as the branch of service and military unit. Presentations of these plaques have been made in a variety of venues, such as American Legion Posts, VFW posts, in churches, at city halls, convention centers, town squares, private homes, and even on a football field. Thus far over 350 families have been honored. For 2012 and 2013, MedSys has committed to covering the costs of 200 portraits per year.
